There is so much to say about Flash development. It is one of the most widespread technologies for web content and has established itself as propably the most popular plugin for Web Browsers, installed in roughly 98% of the desktops worldwide. It can be used for:

Develop Website "Intros": Some websites benefit of having a graphic animated introduction with or without audio that convey the mood and spirit of the company product or service. Please take a look at the Oceania Properties site.

Develop "Movies": Sometimes there is a requirement to develop a story to tell the visitors, typically used for demonstrations or product launches. This project was a true test of our response capability, it was commisioned on a Monday and was finished by Thursday. Only the concept and the music was delivered to us, we developed the story board, character treatment, cell animation and choreography. It is a great example of Cecilia Villalba's great design skills.Bulldog Linux

Develop Interactive Stand Alone Applications: We developed a full fledged application for The Forex Edge™ that is delivered in CD-ROM format and it interacts with the server to deliver content. Feel free to download the introduction to this multimedia title (Windows Executable file 2.37 MB)

Developing full fledged websites: Even having done this for some customers we strongly reccomend developing sections of the site in Flash and not the whole site. the main reason is that maintenance or overhauling the site is non cost effective. There is also the downside of the site being one big file that takes long download time. Ussually we develop the variable content of the site with dynamic scripting like PHP.
